GWCA – 1015: Wife Leadership Mastery: Coaching Wives in Influence and Leadership
Course Instructor: Rahel Randy
Course Description
GWCA - 1015 stands apart from every other course in this Academy, and I want to be honest with you about why. Every course we teach is important. Every course in this program is preparing you to serve real women in real circumstances with real professional skill and genuine human care. But this course asks something additional of you. It asks you to hold two worlds simultaneously with equal sophistication: the world of institutional leadership, with its specific psychology, its demanding culture, and its measurable effects on the human beings who inhabit it, and the world of marital intimacy, with its requirements for vulnerability, genuine presence, and the kind of ordinary, non-strategic, daily care that keeps a genuine partnership alive.
The world provides excellent resources for the woman who leads. There are leadership coaches, executive coaches, governance coaches, career strategists, professional mentors, and a vast library of literature on how to rise, how to lead, how to sustain performance at the top. What the world has not provided, until now, is a coaching discipline that understands the wife inside the leader with equal seriousness, that sees the marriage behind the title as a coaching concern as legitimate and as urgent as any board presentation or strategic initiative. That is what this course trains you to offer.
The course moves through eight modules that together build a complete map of the specific territory you are preparing to coach. We begin in Module One by establishing who the wife in leadership actually is, beneath the public biography. We enter the psychology of power in Module Two. We examine how her leadership capacity shows up inside the home in Module Three. We look carefully at the man she married in Module Four. We address the specific coaching terrain of the C-suite wife in Module Five. We explore the particular challenges of living on a dual public and private stage in Module Six. We go deep into emotional intelligence and vulnerability in Module Seven. And we close with the dual-leadership marriage in Module Eight. Every module is written as a lecture because that is exactly what it is: me, talking directly to you, sharing what I know, what I have learned, and what I believe you need in order to serve these women with the quality of coaching they deserve.
